Experience happy moments with cute, lovable cats and cuddly dogs. “Oh! Meow! Meow!” (originally “Oh! Meow Bow!” or also known as “Five Three Five” / “535”) is a card climbing game with our favorite pets.

What is the game SUNA VALO about?

In SUNA VALO, exactly two people take on the task of building their own farm in the solarpunk world of Overgrown, which is also home to Planta Nubo. In Suna Valo, the “sunny valley”, crossed by a wide river, the picturesque village of Foriro was built at the foot of a mountain – let’s go! The farms supply this village with valuable goods using their transport drones and riverboats.

Now that’s a surprise. Yes, we know it’s a good game. And now many more people know about it – because Diana Doert from Der Spiegel has tested Tinderblox and included it in the “Five quick board games for washing up” list on Spiegel Online. You can read the test here. We think that’s very cool. By the way, Tinderblox can be used for more than just finding out who’s doing the dishes 😉

Grüßt Euch, heute möchte ich Euch Andi Bottlinger und sein neuestes Buch Der Spiegelorden, welches am Buchmesse-Samstag seinen Release beim Calderan Verlag feiern wird, vorstellen.

Swapnix: Hallo Andi, ich freue mich sehr Dich und Deine Bücher näher kennenzulernen. Erzähl uns doch bitte etwas über Dich.

Andi: Hallo, ich bin Andi und ich schreibe Bücher. Früher habe ich meine Fantasy-Romane unter dem Namen Andrea Bottlinger veröffentlicht. Inzwischen habe ich meinen Namen und meinen Geschlechtseintrag geändert und heiße Andi. 

Swapnix: Was hat dazu geführt, dass Du mit dem Schreiben begonnen hast und was für Bücher hast Du bisher veröffentlicht? 

Yay! Wir sind dabei. Calderan ist in Halle 3, Stand C 208 und hat frische Fantasy-Literatur und Brettspiele dabei. Dieses Jahr markiert unseren ersten Auftritt mit einem eigenen Stand, und wir sind begeistert, dir unsere neueste Veröffentlichung, »Der Spiegelorden« von Andi Bottlinger, mitzubringen. Das druckfrische Buch entführt Leser:innen in das von Arandes eroberte Land Gerien, wo Nauri, ein kleines Mädchen und die Wiedergeburt der mächtigen Magierin Nauranda, als Hoffnungsträgerin auftritt. Zusammen mit einer Gruppe ungleicher Gefährten sucht sie nach einer Lösung, die über alte Prophezeiungen hinausgeht.

This is fantastic: we have opened our own publisher’s bookshop in the best place in Frankfurt. “Der fantastische Buchladen” is a joint project by Sandra Thoms, Björn Bedey (both from Bedey & Thoms Verlag), the author Jannis Radleff and our publishing director Sven Nieder from Kraterleuchten / Calderan. The opening was already a brilliant event and with this innovative concept, the fantasy and science fiction scene can look forward to exciting encounters. From regular meetings of the Science Fiction Reading Club to “Fantastic Writing” workshops and “Afternoon Tea with Magic and Books”, there should be something for all fantastic creatures.
