This is fantastic: we have opened our own publisher’s bookshop in the best place in Frankfurt. “Der fantastische Buchladen” is a joint project by Sandra Thoms, Björn Bedey (both from Bedey & Thoms Verlag), the author Jannis Radleff and our publishing director Sven Nieder from Kraterleuchten / Calderan. The opening was already a brilliant event and with this innovative concept, the fantasy and science fiction scene can look forward to exciting encounters. From regular meetings of the Science Fiction Reading Club to “Fantastic Writing” workshops and “Afternoon Tea with Magic and Books”, there should be something for all fantastic creatures.

We pay particular attention to carefully selected books from independent publishers and also from self-publishers. We are convinced that it is important to offer a platform to smaller publishers and authors in particular. Here you can find books outside the mainstream – with new ideas and fresh perspectives. We would like to invite our readers to break away from familiar patterns and make new literary discoveries.

“Der fantastische Buchladen” is of course also an excellent shop window for our authors and a unique stage with guaranteed visibility.
